Racecourse Media Group and At The Races have agreed to combine their respective race archives, enabling broader access to race replay content across their digital platforms.
Under the agreement, users will be able to view race replays from all British and Irish racecourses within minutes of the finish via racingtv.com and attheraces.com, as well as through associated mobile applications. The move is expected to standardise the availability of replay content across both services.
The collaboration follows a previous arrangement between the two organisations involving the exchange of post-race tracking data, which has been used across their digital products.
The latest agreement extends cooperation into archived video content, forming part of ongoing efforts to enhance digital engagement across racing audiences, including those interacting with iGaming-related content.
Common-sense Initiative
Replay footage will be integrated across multiple areas of each platform, including horse profiles, results pages and dedicated replay sections, alongside the introduction of archive playlist functionality.
The agreement does not cover editorial, social media or broadcast rights, which remain separate from the archive exchange.
Nick Mills, Chief Executive Officer, RMG, said: “We’re pleased to have agreed this race archive exchange with At The Races. This partnership supports improved accessibility and consistency of race replays for all racing fans and can only benefit the sport.”
Commented At The Races CEO Kevin Robertson: “This is a great development and should be very positively received by users of both websites. It’s a common-sense initiative that puts customers and the growth of the sport front of mind.”
