Northern Lights Gaming Appoints Ed Pattman as Head of Studio

Northern Lights Gaming has announced the appointment of Ed Pattman as its new Head of Studio, marking the latest change in the company’s leadership structure. Pattman, who co-founded Northern Lights Gaming in 2017 alongside Andrew Goodale, has played a key role in shaping the studio’s creative direction and development output.

The move follows the departure of Goodale, with Chris Loftus recently stepping into the role of CEO. Pattman, previously serving as Game Producer, has overseen the development of numerous titles from concept to launch and will continue to lead the studio’s production processes in his new position.

In addition to managing Northern Lights Gaming’s creative and production teams, Pattman will focus on maintaining the company’s established reputation for consistent quality and technical execution. He will be supported by Scott Newby, who assumes the role of Head of Games and will take on wider responsibilities for product strategy and creative leadership.

The studio, known for its Unusual Suspects series and expanding catalogue of more than 40 slot titles, now employs over 30 people and continues to develop content for leading iGaming operators and platforms worldwide.

Chris Loftus, CEO at Northern Lights Gaming, said: “Ed is one of the most talented and experienced game producers in the industry and has been a driving force behind some of the most successful titles in our portfolio.

“As Head of Studio, Ed will continue to play a hands-on role in the development of our games, while also overseeing our creative and production teams to ensure we continue to innovate and deliver quality games for operators and players.

“Northern Lights now has an incredibly strong senior team in place to lead the business forward, and with some truly epic games rolling off our production line in the coming months.”

Ed Pattman, Head of Studio at Northern Lights Gaming, added: “I’m so proud of what Northern Lights Gaming has achieved over the last eight years and couldn’t be happier stepping into the role of Head of Studio.

“It means I get to enjoy my passion for producing thrilling slot games while also contributing to the direction and growth of the studio that I co-founded with Andrew back in 2017.

“Andrew may have departed, but with a new management team in place, we will absolutely continue with our original mission to create epic slot games that put players on the edge of their seats, spin after spin.”
