PMP to Deploy 1,200 Brightstar Lottery Retail Terminals

Brightstar Lottery has agreed to supply 1,200 Retailer Pro S2 terminals to Pan Malaysian Pools (PMP), supporting the operator’s programme to modernise its retail lottery infrastructure in Malaysia. The agreement will see Brightstar deliver its next-generation terminals, designed to improve transaction speed, reliability and customer interaction at point of sale.

The Retailer Pro S2 model is equipped with a 15.6-inch full HD clerk-facing touchscreen and a high-performance processor intended to provide rapid transaction processing. Its modular design accommodates a range of peripherals, including barcode scanners, fingerprint readers, NFC capability and webcams, and can support multiple player-facing displays to enhance engagement.

Brightstar said the deployment reflects its focus on delivering scalable technology tailored to the operational needs of lotteries and retail partners. The company currently provides technology to nearly 90 lottery customers across six continents and serves as the primary systems provider for 26 US lottery jurisdictions, as well as eight of the world’s 10 largest lotteries.
