PrizePicks, the North American sports entertainment operator, has announced a partnership with safer gaming software provider Mindway AI to strengthen its responsible gaming framework. The agreement will see Mindway AI’s GameScanner technology integrated into the PrizePicks platform, enabling automated monitoring and detection of at-risk play.
The technology uses dynamic behavioural analytics to track player patterns, including changes in frequency, session length and spending habits that may indicate emerging risks. These insights allow PrizePicks to introduce timely interventions such as personalised reminders, budget-setting prompts and access to support tools including timeouts and self-exclusion.
The collaboration will also give PrizePicks’ customer support staff a more detailed view of individual player behaviour, equipping them to provide tailored guidance and promote access to external resources such as Kindbridge Behavioral Health.
PrizePicks has made responsible gaming a central element of its growth strategy. In 2025, the operator became the first fantasy sports company to receive iCAP accreditation from the National Council on Problem Gambling. The partnership with Mindway AI adds an additional layer of player protection as the company continues its expansion into new regulated markets.
“Partnering with Mindway marks a meaningful evolution in how we support player protection,” said Phil Sherwood, Senior Director of Responsible Gaming at PrizePicks. “By enhancing our ability to analyze behavioral data, we’re able to deliver more tailored interventions
and promote responsible play tools with greater precision—helping ensure a safer, more sustainable experience for all of our players.”
“Today marks an exciting day for our company,” said Rasmus Kjaergaard, CEO of Mindway AI. “Partnering with PrizePicks signifies a hugely positive step for player protection not only in the daily fantasy sports realm but in the North American market as a whole.
We are proud and rearing to go on our journey with PrizePicks, which we are fully confident will lead to solid outcomes for both risk minimization for their players but also increased commercial benefit for PrizePicks.”
