The announcement was made at the ALA Conference (Association des Lotteries d’Afrique) held in Marrakesh on November 1, where 12 African delegations, including representatives from national lotteries and government ministries, convened to explore new opportunities in the gaming sector. In regions where football dominates, this initiative represents a significant opportunity to introduce international horse racing to North and West African operators and their customers, expanding their entertainment and betting offerings.
