RubyPlay, a B2B iGaming development studio, has received an online gaming licence from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), marking a significant milestone in its expansion across regulated markets.
With the AGCO’s regulatory approval, RubyPlay is now positioned to offer its diverse range of games to licensed operators in Ontario, Canada’s second-largest province. The studio’s portfolio, which includes popular titles such as Immortal Ways® Diamonds, Mayan Cache, and Diamond Explosion 7s, will soon be accessible to players in the region, further cementing RubyPlay’s presence in North America.
This new licence aligns with RubyPlay’s broader international growth strategy, as the company continues to expand its footprint within regulated markets. The move follows RubyPlay’s recent entry into the US market, where it has partnered with Rush Street Interactive and FanDuel in New Jersey. This expansion reflects RubyPlay’s continued efforts to solidify its position in the North American iGaming market and explore new opportunities in the region.
Dr. Eyal Loz, Chief Product Officer at RubyPlay, said: “Our goal at RubyPlay is to bring our expansive portfolio of unique and innovative games to as many players as possible around the world. We’re therefore thrilled to have obtained our Ontario licence and build our reach in Canada.
“RubyPlay has an outstanding track record empowering our partner’s brands through our innovative and time relevant product offering. We believe that North America will be a strong growth engine for us, where building and maintaining a strong brand is key.”
