SIS Appoints Joel Anyaegbu for West African Market Expansion

SIS (Sports Information Services), a provider of 24/7 live betting services, has recently appointed Joel Anyaegbu as the new Commercial Manager for West Africa. In this role, Anyaegbu will be responsible for driving commercial development and expanding the company’s international presence in this key region.

With his appointment, Anyaegbu, who is based in Nigeria, brings a wealth of industry experience to SIS. His background includes significant roles in business operations and sales, most notably as a Regional Manager for betBonanza, a rapidly growing bookmaker in the country. His expertise will be instrumental in enhancing SIS’s profile in West Africa.

Anyaegbu’s primary focus will be to promote SIS’s diverse portfolio, which includes horse and greyhound racing products for both online and retail customers. He will also play a crucial role in advancing the company’s events-based sports simulation product, Competitive Gaming, and its range of 49’s live numbers draws.

SIS has recently established significant partnerships with operators and platforms in West Africa. Anyaegbu’s appointment is a strategic move by SIS to capitalize on these relationships and forge additional partnerships, further solidifying the company’s footprint in the iGaming industry in West Africa.

Joel Anyaegbu, Commercial Manager – West Africa at SIS, said: “The progress that SIS continues to make internationally is impressive, and I can’t wait to bring my industry knowledge to the table as the new Commercial Manager for West Africa.

“Recent content deals have demonstrated the company’s commitment to commercial expansion in regions where players have a proven appetite for its content. I look forward to furthering that progress.”

Joe Andrews, Head of Sales – Africa at SIS, said: “Joel’s proven commercial acumen within the African market will be a real asset to our plans of continued international expansion through the delivery of a set of products that will resonate with players.

“As well as our live numbers draws, our round-the-clock racing offering, and end-to-end Competitive Gaming solution offer additional value for operators in Africa as significant drivers of revenue. We know that the bettors in the region are football mad and our esoccer product in particular will be a huge success.”
