SkillOnNet Receives £305k Fine

Skill On Net Limited, an igaming operator overseeing a portfolio of 50 websites, has agreed to pay £305,150 as part of a settlement with the regulatory body. The payment follows an investigation conducted by the Gambling Commission, which uncovered failures related to social responsibility and anti-money laundering measures.

The entire amount of £305,150 will be allocated to socially responsible causes, as mandated by the settlement. The investigation was initiated as part of a section 116 regulatory review of Skill On Net Limited, operating under Combined Remote Operating Licence number: 039326-R-319358-050. During the review, deficiencies were identified in the licensee’s processes aimed at promoting safer gambling and preventing money laundering (ML).

The period under review spans from January 2021 to December 2022.
