SkillOnNet Taps ClearStake for iGaming EDD Tools

SkillOnNet has entered into a partnership with ClearStake to update its igaming enhanced due diligence (EDD) and source of funds processes across its portfolio of brands, including PlayOJO.

Under the agreement, the igaming operator will implement ClearStake’s bank-based verification technology, replacing document-led and manual checks with real-time assessments and automated workflows. The approach is designed to support igaming compliance requirements while reducing reliance on traditional verification methods.

ClearStake’s system applies a data-driven intelligence layer tailored to igaming, enabling operators to define when checks are triggered, what information is required and how outcomes are processed. This allows for standardised decision-making processes and operational efficiencies within igaming compliance functions.

The rollout will begin in the UK, with plans to expand into other regulated igaming markets over time. The deployment reflects ongoing adjustments across the igaming sector, as operators respond to evolving regulatory expectations and cost pressures while maintaining compliance standards.

The agreement follows a number of similar integrations of ClearStake’s technology among UK-facing igaming brands, indicating increased adoption of automated verification tools within the market.

Eyal Naor, COO of SkillOnNet, said: “Enhanced due diligence is central to sustainable growth in regulated markets. ClearStake allows us to strengthen controls while improving speed and consistency across the player journey.”

Martin Burt, CEO of ClearStake, added: “EDD is a core revenue, risk and operational challenge for operators. The ClearStake platform is built to optimise these processes, helping these operators make faster, better decisions without relying on manual document checks.”
