A Mobile-First Universe
Players guide Rocketini Quacktini, a fearless space duck, across a universe filled with planets, portals, extra lives, and unexpected obstacles. The game was designed with a true mobile-first philosophy. Rather than following the traditional left-to-right movement common in browser games, Orbital Rush utilizes a bottom-to-top progression—a navigation style that feels natural and familiar to mobile players.
To give our hero a memorable rival, we worked together to introduce Co-Moo-Joker, the Space Cow. Serving as the game’s Big Boss, this antagonist creates a classic good-versus-evil dynamic while paying homage to the casual mobile games that inspired Orbital Rush from the very beginning.

At the heart of Orbital Rush is the CrossyRun™ engine, which transforms every move into an adrenaline-pumping strategic choice. Every successful step increases the multiplier, while different planet types introduce unique gameplay outcomes. This encourages active, strategic decision-making rather than passive multiplier watching.
The game also features an advanced autoplay system with configurable auto cash-out, stop-win, and stop-loss limits, as well as dynamic bet progression after wins and losses, allowing players to deeply personalize their gameplay strategy.
Built by the Community
What makes Orbital Rush truly unique is not just its CrossyRun™ gameplay, but how it was developed. Before launch, SlotCatalog and Riddec Games replaced the traditional beta-testing process with a large-scale, community-driven pre-release campaign.
Players first entered the Orbital Rush universe through Duck Fighter, a free standalone mini-game created specifically for the campaign. More than 100 players earned rewards, and the tournament generated exceptionally high engagement. One participant completed 173 sessions, average playtime exceeded three minutes per player, and many returned throughout the entire eight-day event. Instead of cash prizes, players competed for free spins, proving that strong gameplay alone can successfully drive engagement.
Most importantly, player feedback directly shaped the final version of the game. During the final two weeks before release, the development team implemented significant gameplay improvements—including a redesigned autoplay system, smoother character movement, improved animations, and multiple UX refinements based entirely on our community’s input.
This Customer Development methodology establishes a new framework for our future releases, and research continues post-launch through in-depth player interviews.
