Starcasino has expanded its partnership with Cherry Play, bringing the igaming content provider’s portfolio to players in the Netherlands. The move builds on an existing collaboration between the two companies, with Cherry Play titles already live on the Starcasino platform in Belgium.
The extended agreement gives Dutch players access to Cherry Play’s suite of classic and recent slot releases, including titles such as Chef Super Bet, Super Coin, and the Golden Cherry Jackpot System, as well as new games like Shark Casher and Pirates Player, which debuted in April.
Cherry Play operates on a subscription-based commercial model that differs from the traditional revenue share structure. Operators such as Starcasino pay a fixed monthly licence fee for access to the provider’s portfolio, a model designed to facilitate stronger lobby placement and greater promotional flexibility.
Launched in January 2024, Cherry Play has rapidly expanded its presence in the igaming sector, securing partnerships with a number of operators across regulated European markets. The rollout in the Netherlands marks the latest phase of its regional growth strategy.
Daniela Fricchione, Commercial Account Director at Cherry Play, said: “We are thrilled to have strengthened our relationship with Starcasino beyond Belgium and into the thriving Dutch market, where the operator has built a large and loyal player base seeking the best online slots in the business.
“Cherry Play is here to provide just that, and we are delighted to see our portfolio of games, including our most recent titles, go live to Starcasino players in the Netherlands for the first time.
“It’s also great that the operator can continue to take advantage of our unique subscription-based commercial model, which has worked really well in Belgium, and we expect it to be just as successful for Starcasino in the Netherlands.”
Pieter van den Bos, Director at Starcasino, added: “Cherry Play has proved to be a highly valuable content provider for Starcasino, not just because of its portfolio of great games but also because of its subscription-based commercial model.
“Adding its games to our Dutch casino offering was a no-brainer – they have proved a hit the mark with our players in Belgium, who are just as discerning as our Netherlands player base, so expect them to perform just as well.”
