Sergey, congratulations on your new role as CRO of GR8 Tech. How has the shift in focus, from Casino-only to an entire range of iGaming products, been for you? Are there any key learnings from your casino experience that you can transfer into your new role?

“Stepping into the role of CRO at GR8 Tech is humbling, especially as we’re at a pivotal moment of growth. We’re in a strong position with a strong product, competitive pricing and unmatched customisation, both in the product itself and how we handle deals.

“I am focusing on these areas to maximise our success.

“My main priority is removing any obstacles that might slow us down and enhancing our operations.

“Shifting from a casino-only focus to an entire product range is an exciting challenge.

“And being Head of Casino has enhanced my ability to focus on what truly matters to clients, building on the expertise I’ve developed throughout my career.

“I aim to ensure that all our products are designed for client success. Since success varies by region and product, we’re focusing on the key drivers in each market, whether it’s payment systems, acquisition and retention tools or sportsbook coverage.

“By tailoring our approach to each market’s needs, we’re helping our clients not just to be profitable but to outperform competitors and lead their markets.”

The iGaming industry and market landscape is more dynamic than ever. How do you plan to leverage new technology and strategies to help clients navigate this environment and ensure their ongoing success?

“Navigating this industry requires adaptability, innovation and a deep understanding of market dynamics. We focus on innovation by leveraging performance-driving technologies to enhance personalisation, predictive analytics, operational efficiency, and other areas.

“However, we take a thoughtful approach to innovations, ensuring they genuinely make life easier and match how people actually use them before we roll them out.

“Modernising is important to us. But it always needs to be practical.

“At the same time, we’re prioritising market-specific customisation to tailor our solutions to meet the unique demands of each market. This ensures clients remain ahead of shifting regulations, trends and consumer behaviours.

“Collaboration is another cornerstone of our strategy. By aligning as closely as possible with our client’s goals, we can advance technology and build solutions that solve current challenges and anticipate future opportunities.

Many industry commentators predict increased M&A activity in the iGaming industry over the next year. Will this benefit the industry, and how will the continued consolidation of the market impact your growth objectives going forward?

“M&A activity often revolves around addressing challenges that smaller companies struggle to capitalise on alone, while more prominent players aim to consolidate power and dominate the market.

“It’s a predictable progression, and though it can reduce competition, it’s also part of the industry’s evolution: after periods of stagnation, growth typically follows.
