The Unit Appoints Srdan Srepfler as VP of Engineering

iGaming product and development specialist The Unit has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Srdan Srepfler as Vice President of Engineering. The move reflects the company’s continued investment in experienced talent to support its ongoing technology delivery across sports betting and igaming sectors.

Srepfler brings more than two decades of experience in software development, including a significant tenure at William Hill, where he held roles ranging from Software Developer to Global Platform Backend Lead. His industry background also includes executive-level positions at MoPlay and AsianLogic, the parent company of Dafabet, where he led engineering and automation efforts.

Most recently, Srepfler served as VP of Engineering at Huddle, where he played a central role in building out the company’s engineering function. His contributions included the development of a scalable data pipeline and integrations with providers such as Genius Sports, Sportradar, TXODDS and LSports.

At The Unit, Srepfler will oversee the engineering function, focusing on the delivery of complex custom applications across web, mobile, and cross-platform environments. The company’s offering includes interactive front-end interfaces, back-end systems, and modular development solutions for sports betting and igaming operators.

Srepfler’s appointment follows a series of recent senior hires at The Unit, including the additions of Alan Bruce as Sales and Account Director, Aoife Dillon as Senior Account Manager, and Andy Clerkson as Chairman, signalling a period of expansion and investment in leadership.
