ThrillTech, a specialist in igaming jackpot solutions, has secured a remote operating licence from the UK Gambling Commission, allowing the company to offer its software to regulated operators in the UK market.
The licence, regarded as a benchmark for regulatory standards across Europe, adds to ThrillTech’s existing certifications in Sweden, Romania, Malta and the Netherlands. The UK approval follows the recent attainment of ISO 27001 certification, reflecting the company’s continued investment in security and compliance infrastructure.
With the UK licence in place, ThrillTech’s proprietary jackpot product, ThrillPots, is now available to UK operators. According to the company, the solution is designed to drive incremental gross gaming revenue by up to 10% through customisable, real-time jackpots.
To align with UK regulatory requirements, including the recently implemented stake limits for online slots, ThrillTech has adapted its jackpot algorithm to ensure full compliance. The company has also introduced a multi-currency system and linked jackpots, further broadening its feature set for operators.
The business plans to announce its first UK-based operator integrations in the coming weeks. Speaking on the milestone, Head of Business Development Faye Williams confirmed that the company is already working with local partners to deliver bespoke jackpot experiences tailored to the UK market.
ThrillTech, headquartered in Cyprus, aims to expand its footprint further with licences in 10 jurisdictions by year-end, as it continues to focus on solutions that support igaming operator growth through player engagement and monetisation.
“As our main proposition is player-funded jackpots, we are always keen to stay ahead of the regulatory curve, while adhering to the gold standard of iGaming industry compliance.”
“Innovation can never stop,” said Williams. “Following this latest licence award, we promise to keep pushing the limits of product performance. ThrillTech was built for the next stage of the iGaming industry.”
