Thunderkick Targets Expansion into Ontario’s iGaming Market

Thunderkick, an independent slots studio known for its innovative games, is poised to make a significant move into the Ontario market, with plans to acquire an operating license in the jurisdiction. This strategic initiative is part of Thunderkick’s broader aim to strengthen its presence in regulated international markets, with Ontario earmarked as a key focus area alongside other significant markets like Italy, Portugal, and Sweden.

Entering the Ontario market represents a critical phase in Thunderkick’s long-term growth strategy, which includes rolling out new game releases and securing commercial deals throughout 2024 and beyond. The Ontario license will enable Thunderkick to collaborate with various operators in a region that has shown vibrant activity since its online market inauguration in 2022.

This expansion will introduce Thunderkick’s portfolio of popular and innovative titles to a new audience in Ontario. Among these are the recently launched “Hellapenos” and fan favorites such as “Esqueleto Explosivo 2” and the “Beat the Beast” series.
