Waldner Cup and GRID Present Dota 2 Legends Cup in Stockholm

The Dota 2 Legends Cup, an event conceived by Waldner Cup and supported by GRID Esports, is scheduled to be held in Stockholm from November 24-26, 2023. Jan-Ove Waldner, known for his achievements in table tennis, is one of the minds behind the Waldner Cup.

The upcoming esports tournament is set to feature teams from various global locations, participating in the popular video game, Dota 2. LGD from China and Alliance from Sweden are among the participating teams. Additionally, an online qualifier is planned before the main event, offering additional teams the opportunity to compete.

GRID Esports will manage the data infrastructure and technical support for the tournament, employing their Esports Solutions for various logistical aspects of the event organization. In parallel, Black Molly Entertainment, a production company from the Nordics, is tasked with handling media production and orchestrating the on-site experience for attendees and participants alike.
