AfriMillions has completed the launch of its lottery product, supported by technology and services from The All Things Lottery Group (ATL), marking a new market entry within the wider iGaming and lottery landscape.
The draw featured a headline jackpot of Naira 1 billion (£524,000/US$716,000) and was made available to players through AfriMillions’ website alongside local lottery points of sale.
According to information released by the companies, the inaugural draw attracted strong participation, indicating early consumer engagement with the new offering in a regulated lottery environment that increasingly overlaps with iGaming distribution models.
Community Initiatives
The launch follows several months of collaboration between AfriMillions and multiple businesses within the ATL Group portfolio. These included Smartplay, which supplied the draw machines, ALOT Systems, which delivered the omnichannel lottery platform and ATL Prizes, which provided jackpot prize cover to support the scale of the initial draw.
AfriMillions has positioned its lottery around a model that combines prize-led participation with stated commitments to community initiatives, including education, healthcare and entrepreneurship.
From an operational perspective, the use of an omnichannel platform reflects broader trends in iGaming and lottery markets, where digital access and physical retail distribution increasingly operate in parallel.
For ATL Group, the AfriMillions deployment represents another client launch using its integrated B2B offering, spanning technology, equipment and prize management.
