Brazilian entrepreneur Alessandro Valente has received the Affiliate Idol award at the iGB Affiliate Awards 2026, recognising his contribution to the affiliate and iGaming sectors over more than two decades.
Valente has been involved in the Brazilian digital industry since the 1990s, initially working in digital project development, design and technology before moving into traffic acquisition, SEO, user acquisition and affiliate marketing.
He later founded Super Afiliados, an iGaming affiliate business that has worked with operators entering the Brazilian market and supported the development of the country’s affiliate sector.
Beyond affiliate marketing, Valente has been involved in several industry projects in Brazil. He co-created the Brazilian iGaming Summit (BiS), which was later acquired by the SiGMA Group, and was also a co-founder of the Brazilian Lounge, an initiative designed to connect Brazilian companies with international industry events.
Valente has also invested in Cactus Gaming, a Brazilian betting platform technology provider. The company supplies technology to operators in the domestic market, including Ana Gaming, the group behind the 7K, Cassino and Vera brands.
His activities have also included supporting international operators entering Brazil, working with domestic businesses during expansion and participating in initiatives focused on the development of the country’s regulated iGaming sector.
Alongside his work in iGaming, Valente has expanded his investment activity into technology businesses, with interests including blockchain, Web3, crypto-assets, artificial intelligence and other digital ventures.
The Affiliate Idol award recognises his long-term contribution to the affiliate industry and his involvement in the development of Brazil’s iGaming market through affiliate businesses, industry events and technology investments.
