ATG has partnered with Mindway AI to implement the supplier’s GameScanner technology as part of its responsible gambling framework in Sweden. The collaboration introduces an AI-driven system designed to identify at-risk behaviour across ATG’s full player base in real time.
GameScanner combines machine-learning models with human expert evaluation to analyse gambling patterns and flag potential indicators of harm, a process Mindway AI refers to as a “virtual psychologist” approach. The tool will support ATG in meeting regulatory expectations in Sweden, a market known for its strict responsible gambling requirements.
ATG, which has operated Sweden’s horse betting monopoly since 1974 and now offers sports and casino products, said the integration strengthens its commitment to providing safer gambling environments. Mindway AI stated that the partnership aligns with its goal of supporting operators in developing sustainable and compliant igaming practices.
“Responsible gambling is our most important sustainability issue. With GameScanner, we are further strengthening our commitment to responsible gambling and enhancing the safety of our customers” states Sophie Linghag, Head of Fair Play at ATG.
“We are thrilled to partner with ATG, a company that shares our commitment to responsible gambling and player protection,” said Rasmus Kjaergaard, CEO of Mindway AI. “By integrating GameScanner, ATG can provide their customers with a safer gambling experience,
supporting not only individual players but also the broader Swedish horse racing industry.”
