BetMGM has announced a multi-year partnership with the Las Vegas Aces and the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), becoming the exclusive online casino and sportsbook partner of the Aces through the 2027 season. The deal marks BetMGM’s first formal alignment with a women’s professional sports franchise and includes a series of promotional and content-led activations both in-venue and online.
Under the agreement, BetMGM branding will feature prominently at the Aces’ home venue, Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The brand will also receive dedicated placement across the Aces’ digital channels. For BetMGM customers, the partnership introduces exclusive experiences such as courtside access to pre-game shootarounds and VIP seating options.
As an authorised gaming partner of the WNBA through 2027, BetMGM will also gain commercial inventory during nationally broadcast games and rights to offer WNBA-related experiences to VIP players. Additionally, the company has confirmed plans to launch a WNBA-branded online slot title, which will be available exclusively via its igaming platform in active jurisdictions. The title will represent the first official WNBA-themed slot game on a regulated online casino.
The partnership was launched with an event in Las Vegas on May 27, attended by representatives from BetMGM, the Las Vegas Aces, MGM Resorts International, and nonprofit organisation The Just One Project. During the announcement, the group revealed a new community initiative titled “BetMGM Steals for Meals,” which will see the operator donate $50 to The Just One Project for every defensive steal made by the Aces at home games.
BetMGM has reported year-on-year growth in WNBA betting volume, with a 133% increase in 2024. The operator continues to expand its betting markets, including player props, futures on the Commissioner’s Cup, and enhanced playoff coverage.
As part of its ongoing focus on responsible gambling, BetMGM continues to integrate GameSense into its igaming products. Developed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation and licensed to MGM Resorts, GameSense provides players with access to tools and information intended to encourage informed and responsible gameplay. The platform is integrated into both the mobile and desktop versions of BetMGM’s digital products and complements the operator’s wider suite of player protection features.
