BetRegal Continues Marketing Services Collaboration with The Unit
The Unit, a top-tier provider of digital marketing and product development for the sports betting and igaming industries, will extend its partnership with online sportsbook and casino operator, BetRegal, following a successful inaugural year.
Over the past five years, The Unit has established a robust reputation as a global service provider for the sports betting and igaming sector. It will continue to support BetRegal in its growth in the Irish sports market and beyond.
BetRegal, originally from Canada, has made a significant footprint in specific regulated igaming markets worldwide. The operator has solidified its name through its sponsorship of the Sky Sports News (SSN) channel in Ireland, where it covers the broadcaster’s nightly 10 pm wrap-up show.
During this partnership, a series of well-regarded BetRegal advertisements were broadcasted on Sky Sports’ channels, forming part of a wider linear package of high-quality assets backed by The Unit’s leading MarTech innovation team.
Additional initiatives included a Sky Sports News homepage takeover, aligning the BetRegal brand with SSN Ireland, and a Twitter-led social strategy. By using topical humor and trending hashtags, The Unit quickly built an engaged community of 4,000 Twitter users for BetRegal, subsequently boosting acquisition and retention rates, along with a significant increase in first-time depositors (FTDs).
BetRegal has also been involved in football as the primary sponsor of Dundalk FC, during a period when the League of Ireland’s attendance and fan engagement have reached record highs.
In this collaboration, BetRegal has demonstrated community involvement by donating jersey space to Watch Your Back MND, an organization founded by Dundalk resident, Roy Taylor, who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2018. Through this initiative, a special jersey auction last year raised €10,000, further emphasizing Dundalk’s position as a community-focused club.
