Booming Games, an iGaming content provider, has announced the acquisition of a Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA) license, paving the way for further growth in the European market.
On April 24th, 2023, Booming Games was officially notified of its B2B gaming license approval by the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA). With this authorization, the company can now distribute its content to licensed gambling operators in Sweden, allowing Swedish players to continue enjoying popular games such as Burning Classics, TNT Bonanza, Cash Pig, Buffalo Hold and Win, and Rodfather Megaways™.
The license acquisition comes as a strategic move, as new regulations, effective from July 23, 2023, mandate that all online casino game suppliers must be licensed. The Swedish government’s goal is to enhance the channelization of legal markets and safeguard the integrity of the industry and consumer rights.
