Boyd Gaming Corporation has signed a new three-year agreement with International Game Technology (IGT) to continue using the IGT PlaySports platform for its retail and mobile sports betting operations in Nevada. The extension will see IGT’s technology support Boyd Gaming’s sportsbook offerings through August 2028.
The renewed agreement maintains IGT PlaySports’ role in powering Boyd Gaming’s betting infrastructure at 10 physical sportsbook locations across Nevada, as well as through its digital wagering channels. The collaboration between the two companies dates back to 2018.
In addition to Nevada, IGT PlaySports technology is also deployed at Boyd Gaming properties in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. The platform has received industry recognition, most recently being named “Sportsbook Platform Provider of the Year” at the 2024 EGR North America Awards.
IGT continues to expand its presence in the regulated igaming and sports betting markets across the United States, with Boyd Gaming remaining a key partner across multiple jurisdictions.
