Building Sustainability Through Compliance: Event Highlights

With an estimated 55,000 iGaming professionals gathering in brilliant Barcelona for ICE, what better way to kick things off and set the right tone for the week than an invite to iGamingFuture’s Supper Club in the storied Spanish city.

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming a select group of the world’s leading iGaming professionals to the iGF Supper Club, held at the exclusive Kaktos Botanical Society, a gem of a venue, close to the famous Rambla avenue in the heart of the Catalan capital.

The iGF Supper Club, now in its fifth-year iteration, is an intimate networking and learning experience where sector leaders come together, with a prime focus on exploring how the iGaming industry can best navigate the evolving online betting landscape — and ensure sustained growth well into the future.

The welcoming address was delivered by Paul Foster, CEO of our event partners, Crucial Compliance.

The audience also heard from Josh Hodgson, Senior Associate at H2 Gambling Capital, who delivered some key insights into the real impact of regulation on market revenue and levels of competitiveness, alongside some surprising projections for the future.

A session that wasn’t to be missed!

Paula Wesołowska, Head of Risk/Customer Operations at banking disruptors Revolut gave the highly-practical and compelling keynote briefing.

She explored the striking parallels between the financial services and iGaming industry, notably their similar compliance and regulatory challenges; exploring new pathways and transferable learnings that we, as the iGaming industry, can discover through adopting more of an out-of-industry mindset.

The evening of networking and progressive thought leadership was capped off with an exotic chocolate-tasting session. A perfect way to see out the evening.

Meantime, the iGF team look forward to welcoming you to the next iGF Supper Club, taking place in Malta in September, later this year.
