Caesars Entertainment, Inc. has successfully closed the acquisition of WynnBET’s Michigan iGaming business operations. This strategic move includes a long-term extension of iGaming market access rights with the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. Caesars will continue operating on the existing platform under the WynnBET brand, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
This transaction is expected to enhance Caesars’ iCasino net revenue growth in an EBITDA-accretive manner.
Caesars Entertainment plans to announce a new online casino brand and transition the WynnBET iCasino operations to Caesars’ Michigan iGaming Platform in the second half of 2024, subject to regulatory approvals. This strategic integration aims to further solidify Caesars’ presence and capabilities in the Michigan iGaming market.
“Caesars Entertainment would like to thank the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and the Michigan Gaming Control Board for their collaboration through this process,” said Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital.
