Caesars Entertainment, Inc., the largest casino-entertainment company in the U.S., has been honored with the Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the National Council on Problem Gambling’s National Awards on July 19. This award acknowledges Caesars Entertainment’s long-standing commitment to responsible gaming and its innovative policies, such as the Universal Exclusion and 21+ Gaming policies introduced in 2023.
In March 2023, Caesars expanded its self-exclusion program with the industry’s most comprehensive universal exclusion policy, applicable across its extensive gaming portfolio. Additionally, the company implemented an enhanced 21+ gaming policy to ensure that individuals under 21 are restricted from participating in Caesars Rewards® and accessing gaming products. This policy also prohibits customers under 21 from wagering on any Caesars Sportsbook, Caesars Racebook, and iGaming mobile apps.
Caesars Entertainment has been a pioneer in responsible gaming since the launch of Project 21 in 1989. The company’s responsible gaming initiatives include awareness and education training for all team members, advanced training for over 1,800 Responsible Gaming Ambassadors, and a Responsible Gaming Council composed of senior leaders. The council oversees responsible gaming policies and initiatives, including charitable contributions to organizations focused on research, education, workforce development, and treatment of problem gambling. Caesars is also a member of the Leadership Circle for the National Council on Problem Gambling.
Caesars Entertainment aims to ensure that everyone who visits its properties or uses its online products gambles for the right reason: to have fun. The company’s initiatives cover a wide range of platforms, markets, audiences, and mediums to ensure all players are informed about their options for safe play.
