Checkd Group Enhances Media Division with New Digital PR Initiative

Checkd Group is enhancing its media division through the creation of a dedicated digital PR team, aiming to elevate organic search performance for its principal platforms within the UK and North American markets.

James Dixon steps into the role of Head of Digital PR at Checkd Media, the group’s division focused on content and marketing. Dixon and his team are set to increase the visibility of Checkd Group’s proprietary brands, such as Footy Accumulators, The Winners Enclosure, and FlashPicks, across the UK, US, Canada, and South America. Furthermore, the team will extend digital PR services to external partners, enriching Checkd’s performance marketing offerings.

This strategic move aims to amplify the Group’s brands, placing a renewed emphasis on organic performance as a vital channel for driving traffic and revenue, with digital PR at its core.

Dixon, whose background includes a decade in the iGaming industry and a former career in journalism, comes to Checkd Group from his previous role at BonusFinder, where he demonstrated remarkable success in expanding visibility in global markets.

Supporting Dixon, George Rogan and Liam Conroy have been appointed as Digital PR Managers, with Charlie Giblin joining the team as Digital PR Executive. These appointments follow the recent inclusion of Rob Cable as PPC Manager and George Webb as Head of SEO, further strengthening Checkd Group’s commitment to bolstering its UK and US operations.

James Dixon, Head of Digital PR at Checkd Media, said: “This is a key moment for the trajectory of the Organic team, bringing together an industry-leading passionate and experienced team that will accelerate the growth of Checkd Group’s brands going forward.
