Octoplay has expanded its igaming presence in the Nordic region through a new partnership with Danske Spil, Denmark’s state-owned gambling operator. The agreement brings Octoplay’s full games portfolio to another key regulated market, bolstering its distribution across Europe.
The integration marks Octoplay’s continued commercial growth strategy in licensed jurisdictions, with the company already active in 10 regulated European markets. The collaboration with Danske Spil follows recent partnerships with Svenska Spel in Sweden, JACKS.NL in the Netherlands, and Rank Group in the UK, further extending Octoplay’s footprint across leading European operators.
Octoplay has maintained a high integration pace throughout 2024, averaging five new deployments per month and establishing commercial agreements with over 80 operators. The deal with Danske Spil adds to this momentum and supports the supplier’s efforts to scale in the Nordics.
Alongside its European growth, Octoplay is also progressing in North America, having recently obtained provisional licences in both Michigan and New Jersey. The supplier’s strategy remains focused on rapid entry into regulated markets, forming partnerships with established operators, and delivering consistently performing igaming content.
Ralitsa Georgieva, Director of Business Development at Octoplay, states: “Partnering with Danske Spil, Denmark’s most established and trusted gaming brand, represents a significant milestone in our European expansion. This aligns perfectly with our approach of securing direct partnerships with leading operators in each market we enter. With their deep roots and nationwide recognition, Danske Spil provides an exceptional platform to showcase our premium content to Danish players.”
Simon Hoffmann Riis, Senior Games & Analytics Manager at Danske Spil, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Octoplay as a trusted partner whose premium portfolio has consistently proven itself across European markets. Their data-driven approach to creating quality content aligns perfectly with our commitment to offering Danish players the most engaging and responsible entertainment experience possible.”
