FDJ has announced that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with Aleda, with a view to acquiring this specialist in point-of-sale collection and payment solutions.
Aleda is present in more than 2,500 points of sale in France, through collection solutions adapted to tobacconists and press distributors, secure portals for dematerialized services and money transfer for the general public, and management and payment solutions for merchants.
Since its creation in 2005, Aleda has established itself as one of the leading players in point-of-sale collection and payment solutions for local businesses, particularly those in the bar-tobacco-press network, and as a privileged partner of providers of prepaid services, money transfer, and pipe and diversification products.
Aleda has nearly 100 employees in France, spread over the sites of Limoges, Challans and Montpellier.
This planned acquisition is part of the development strategy for FDJ’s Payment and Services business and reinforces the Group’s commitment to supporting merchants by offering them value-added services to help them manage and development of their points of sale.
The finalization of this operation is subject to the usual conditions precedent, in particular the authorization of the Autorité de la concurrence.
