Hollywoodbets has agreed to integrate ClearStake’s ID by Bank verification technology as part of its efforts to streamline customer due diligence processes across its igaming platform in the United Kingdom.
Through the partnership, players using Hollywoodbets’ igaming and sportsbook services will be able to verify their identity using their banking application rather than uploading documents manually. The system connects to open banking infrastructure, allowing customers to confirm identity details through their bank account in a process designed to be completed within seconds.
ClearStake’s ID by Bank product uses bank-verified data to support identity checks required under regulatory compliance frameworks. For igaming operators, these checks form part of standard customer due diligence and anti-money laundering procedures required before customers can access certain products or transaction limits on online betting and casino platforms.
By introducing the technology, Hollywoodbets aims to simplify the verification process for customers while reducing the operational workload associated with document-based checks.
