Hollywoodbets has expanded its igaming offering in South Africa through a new content partnership with RubyPlay, bringing a selection of the supplier’s slot titles to the operator’s platform.
Under the agreement, RubyPlay’s games, including Elephant Stampede SE, Diamond Explosion® 7s and Mayan Cache, are now available to Hollywoodbets players across the country. The rollout adds additional igaming content to Hollywoodbets’ existing portfolio of casino and betting products in one of Africa’s largest regulated gambling markets.
RubyPlay entered the South African igaming market in 2023 and has since been working to extend the distribution of its slot titles across operators in the region. The studio develops casino games through its layered content ecosystem, which focuses on delivering titles designed for regulated igaming environments and diverse player preferences.
Hollywoodbets, which traces its origins to a racing publication business founded in 1986, opened its first bookmaking branch in 2000 and has since grown into one of South Africa’s most recognised betting operators. The company operates across retail and online channels, offering sports betting alongside an expanding igaming portfolio that includes slots and live casino products from multiple global suppliers.
The integration of RubyPlay titles forms part of Hollywoodbets’ ongoing efforts to broaden its igaming catalogue, providing players with additional casino content as competition among operators continues to increase in the South African market.
For RubyPlay, the partnership represents another step in expanding the reach of its igaming content across regulated jurisdictions, as suppliers continue to seek distribution through established regional operators.
