Kambi Group Secures Nevada Licensing Approval for Sportsbook Solutions

Kambi Group plc, a provider of premium sports betting solutions, has received approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission to offer its sportsbook technology and services in Nevada. This approval allows Kambi to expand its operations into one of the most prominent sports betting markets in the world.

The approval, granted on January 30, 2025, follows a unanimous recommendation from the Nevada Gaming Control Board earlier this month. With the issuance of Manufacturer & Distributor Licenses and an Information Services License, Kambi can now provide its services to non-restricted gaming establishments in Las Vegas and throughout the state.

This marks a significant milestone for Kambi, positioning the company to tap into Nevada’s thriving sports betting market. The state, known for its stringent regulatory requirements, offers a unique opportunity for growth with limited B2B competition. This expansion aligns with Kambi’s broader strategy to enhance its presence across the Americas.

Kambi has been a key player in the regulated U.S. sports betting industry since 2018, processing the first legal online wager outside of Nevada after the repeal of PASPA. The company’s continued commitment to regulatory compliance and excellence in sportsbook technology remains central to its operations.

Werner Becher, CEO of Kambi, said: “Securing approval for our licences in Nevada is an important milestone for Kambi and a testament to our market-leading technology, regulatory expertise and corporate integrity. Nevada is widely known as the gold standard for betting and gaming regulation, insisting on a standard that few companies can meet, and is therefore recognition of Kambi’s unwavering commitment to excellence. We would like to thank both the Commission and NGCB for their thorough review and approval of our applications.”
