LeoVegas Group Launches In-House Gaming Studio to Enhance Control Over iGaming Ecosystem

LeoVegas Group has announced the launch of LeoVegas Studios, a new in-house gaming studio designed to create innovative slot games tailored to evolving player trends and preferences. By leveraging extensive player data, LeoVegas Studios will focus on developing group-exclusive games that offer medium-volatility experiences aimed at long-term player engagement. This new venture gives LeoVegas Group greater creative and technological freedom, strengthening its control over the iGaming ecosystem.

LeoVegas Studios is led by Mats Andersson, a former Creative Director at Light & Wonder, who will oversee game development that aligns with the preferences of the Group’s player base. Using data-driven insights, the studio will produce proprietary games that offer personalized, engaging experiences, supporting broader customer acquisition strategies across multiple markets.

This move aligns with LeoVegas Group’s broader strategy to increase control over its value chain within the iGaming ecosystem. The games developed by LeoVegas Studios will complement the existing portfolio of intellectual property held by LeoVegas Group and MGM Resorts International, enhancing the entertainment experience for players.

The first title from LeoVegas Studios, Where Pigeons Dare, is set to launch on 25 September 2024. The medium-volatility cluster pay slot will feature wild modifiers, progressive multipliers, and buy bonuses. This release is the first of four planned for 2024, with six more scheduled for 2025.
