Light & Wonder, Inc. (NASDAQ and ASX: LNW) has named Simon Johnson as the new CEO of its iGaming division.
Johnson, who has been with the company since 2017, previously served as Senior Vice President and International Managing Director, where he played a key role in advancing the company’s international commercial efforts within the gaming sector. In his new position, Johnson will report directly to Light & Wonder President and CEO Matt Wilson, and will join the company’s Executive Leadership Team.
Before his tenure at Light & Wonder, Johnson held leadership positions in several industries, including investment banking, private equity, telecommunications, and financial technology. His experience spans a wide range of roles, from mergers and acquisitions to operations in both startup and multinational environments, including FTSE100 and Fortune 500 companies.
