Merkur Casino Aberdeen is celebrating the successful completion of its inaugural six-week croupier training programme. Designed to prepare participants for the dynamic environment of casino gaming, the intensive programme aims to develop the necessary skills for aspiring croupiers.
Four trainees—Ayodele Ladi-James, Daniel Murray, Megija Jerjomina, and Ryan Dale—participated in a 40-hour per week course that blended theoretical learning with practical experience. Under the guidance of seasoned professionals, the trainees focused on two popular games, American Roulette and Three Card Poker. The programme covered all aspects of game management, customer interaction, and the proper handling of gaming equipment, along with essential knowledge in responsible gambling and anti-money laundering regulations.
The curriculum also included comprehensive modules on game rules, betting processes, and creating an engaging environment for players. Soft skills such as communication, attention to detail, and customer service were highlighted to ensure trainees are well-equipped for a successful career in the industry.
