NCAA Extends Data Partnership With Genius Sports to 2032

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Genius Sports have confirmed an extension of their long-standing collaboration, which will now run through 2032. The expanded agreement continues to focus on data distribution, integrity services, and technological advancement across the college athletics ecosystem, strengthening both organisations’ roles within the broader igaming and regulated sports betting sectors.

Under the renewed partnership, Genius Sports will serve as the exclusive distributor of official NCAA data to licensed sportsbooks for all post-season tournaments, including March Madness. The agreement is designed to deliver fast, verified, and secure data to the regulated sports betting market, providing sportsbooks operating under the Authorized Gaming Licensee (AGL) program with exclusive access to NCAA data feeds, as well as the use of official NCAA marks and logos.

In addition to data rights, Genius Sports will collaborate with participating sportsbooks on initiatives aimed at enhancing integrity protections and supporting responsible betting. This includes measures to limit high-risk bet types, enforce compliance standards, and implement safeguards for student-athletes across all competitions.

A key element of the extended partnership is the continued provision of NCAA LiveStats, the NCAA’s official live statistics platform. Supporting over 70,000 games annually and utilised by thousands of NCAA schools, LiveStats will remain a central data collection and distribution resource for member schools, conferences, and coaching staff. Access to the platform will continue to be provided free of charge to NCAA membership.

The partnership also introduces GeniusIQ, a new AI and machine learning platform developed by Genius Sports. GeniusIQ is designed to enhance the analysis, performance, and engagement surrounding college sports by delivering real-time data-driven insights. Applications of the platform range from providing advanced performance analytics for schools and coaches to enabling new interactive experiences for fans, reflecting the growing integration of technology into the college sports and igaming landscapes.

“Since 2018, Genius Sports’ technology has transformed the college sports data ecosystem,” said Mark Locke, CEO of Genius Sports. “This extension is a powerful endorsement of our vision—delivering cutting-edge data solutions to support NCAA schools while connecting our sportsbook partners with the highest quality NCAA official content, alongside our exclusive NFL and Premier League rights. Most importantly, it’s a partnership grounded in innovation, integrity, and a shared commitment to the future of collegiate athletics.”
