Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation Names Kambi Sportsbook Partner

Kambi Group has formally assumed responsibility as sportsbook partner to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation following the completion of a novation agreement involving FDJ Gaming Solutions France. The transition marks a change in the long-term provision of sports betting services for OLG across both retail and online channels within the regulated Ontario igaming market.

The novation process follows an announcement made in 2025, when FDJ confirmed that Kambi had been selected to take over its role as OLG’s sportsbook technology provider, subject to regulatory approvals and the completion of agreed conditions. With those conditions now satisfied, Kambi has become contractually responsible for delivering sports betting services to OLG, and the Kambi-powered sportsbook went live on 27 January.

OLG operates sports betting under the PROLINE brand in retail locations and through PROLINE+ online, with all profits reinvested into the province of Ontario. The sportsbook offering is supported by Kambi’s turnkey sportsbook platform, which will be used to manage OLG’s multi-channel sports betting operations within the province’s igaming framework.

The agreement positions Kambi as the technology partner supporting OLG’s sportsbook activities in a regulated North American igaming environment, while FDJ Gaming Solutions France exits its previous operational role with the lottery. The move reflects the ongoing evolution of supplier partnerships as lottery and gaming organisations adapt their igaming and sports betting strategies to meet regulatory, operational and player requirements in competitive markets.

Werner Becher, Kambi Group Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are delighted to have officially completed this transition and to begin this next chapter of our partnership with OLG. Having met the necessary conditions of the novation agreement, Kambi is excited to become the official sportsbook provider and to have launched with one of the world’s most respected lottery operators. We value our partnership with OLG and look forward to leveraging our proven technology to help them drive sustainable growth and provide a safe and entertaining betting product for their customers in Ontario.”

Duncan Hannay, OLG President and CEO, added: “OLG strives to provide a market leading PROLINE sports betting experience for our players. We look forward to working alongside our new partner, Kambi, who offers a proven track record of product excellence and reliability, as we deliver on our commitment to give back to the people and communities of Ontario. This is an exciting step forward for both organizations.”
