Paf Expands Presence in Latvian Gaming Market with Acquisitions from 888

Leading Nordic iGaming operator Paf has become the third largest betting company in the Latvian market with the acquisition of WilliamHill.lv and MrGreen.lv from 888 Holdings.

Paf takes full control of their new Baltic operations in June.

“This is a good long-term investment [for us],” said Paf CEO Christer Fahlstedt. “We have been operating in Latvia since 2018 and we aim to build a stable position in the market.”

“Current customers WilliamHill.lv and MrGreen.lv customers will not notice any difference directly when we take over the business.

“It also means that we will have a new office in Riga, where more than 20 employees will become a part of [the new] Paf Latvia.”
