Nordic igaming operator Paf has partnered with ThrillTech to implement a suite of player-funded jackpot products across its digital gaming portfolio. The rollout introduces ThrillPots™, a side-bet jackpot solution designed to increase session engagement and monetisation through optional player contributions.
ThrillTech’s model enables operators to deploy jackpot features without diverting funds from core game RTPs or altering base game dynamics. Instead, players opt into the jackpots through additional side bets, with the mechanic operating under a licensed framework in line with local compliance requirements.
The partnership enables Paf to offer these jackpot experiences across key verticals and markets, including Finland, Sweden and Estonia. Integration was achieved via a direct technical connection between the two parties.
Paf, which was established in 1966, is a licensed operator with a presence in multiple European jurisdictions and a business model that includes community reinvestment. The inclusion of ThrillTech’s technology is aligned with its broader platform enhancement strategy and focus on regulated market innovation within the igaming sector.
“This partnership with Paf is a milestone moment for ThrillTech,” said Faye Williams, Head of Business Development at ThrillTech. “Paf is one of the most respected operators in the Nordics and their focus on social responsibility makes them an ideal partner for our licensed jackpot ecosystem. We’re thrilled to bring our customisable side-bet jackpots to their players.”
Kim Johansson, Chief Gaming Officer of Paf, added: “ThrillTech’s jackpot mechanics offer a fresh and modern take on how to create value for both players and operators. We’re excited to be able to offer this concept to our players and to further explore the possibilities of bespoke jackpot campaigns.”
