PlayOJO Brings Back ‘Street Casino’ Guerilla Marketing Campaign

Online casino PlayOJO has revived its successful ‘Street Casino’ marketing campaign in the bustling streets of London. The campaign aimed to foster engaging interactions with the brand through gameshow-style challenges offering cash prizes. Social media users were also invited to participate digitally, with similar challenges for the chance to win Amazon vouchers.

Comic actor Andy Hindson reprised his role as the charismatic gamemaster, hosting a range of challenges, including ‘Bingo Basket Head,’ where contestants attempted to catch as many bingo balls as possible in head baskets.

Another challenge, Axe Throwing, required participants to take aim at Andy, who sported a medieval helmet and target circle, using velcro axes. Additionally, the campaign featured quizzes testing the British public’s knowledge of famous songs and movies.

PlayOJO’s ‘Street Casino’ campaign aimed to create authentic, entertaining interactions with its brand while bringing a touch of excitement to the streets of London.

Social Media Manager, Alessandro Iacovangelo at PlayOJO said: “This campaign aims to create a buzz around the brand through authentic entertainment with consumers both digitally and in-person. It emphasizes PlayOJO’s brand identity, which is fun and unconventional while also highlighting the casino’s commitment to fairness and a chance to win cash with no strings attached.

The British public is always up for a good laugh, and we didn’t want this to get lost in translation, so each challenge was done unscripted and purely focused on delivering entertaining content to our players.”
