PlayStar Partnership Brings The Unit’s iGaming Services to New Jersey

The Unit, a leading entity in nearshore product development for sports betting and igaming, has secured a partnership with PlayStar, an online casino operator, enabling the launch of its services in New Jersey. This development follows the approval granted by the Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), certifying The Unit to offer its high-quality, scalable, and efficient products to partners within the state.

With a five-year record of excellence, The Unit has carved out a global reputation in the sports betting and igaming sector. Their expertise spans several industry domains, including Sports, Casino, Free-to-Play, and Gamification Platforms.

As per the agreement with the DGE, The Unit will assume the role of frontend and native mobile development partner for PlayStar. Having launched its online platform in New Jersey in September of the previous year, PlayStar provides a selection of live games including roulette, baccarat, blackjack, and on-demand slots. Notable titles include Starburst, Cleopatra, and Megajackpots, among others. In the following month, PlayStar introduced a fully-personalized igaming casino app in the state, enhancing user experience and engagement.

Paddy Casey, Co-Founder at The Unit, said: “PlayStar is one of the most exciting up-and-coming igaming operators in New Jersey, and we are delighted to be a part of their journey.

“This is a monumental step forward for The Unit, as we continue to offer market-leading services to operators, and we are hugely excited about the opportunities for growth available to us in the state of New Jersey.

“I would like to thank the DGE for their co-operation and for allowing us to provide our specialised services to PlayStar, which marks the start of a fascinating project.”

Dan Alexander, COO at PlayStar, said: “The Unit are a great team and have built a reputation for delivering a reliable service of the highest quality. I can thoroughly recommend them for gaming web and app development, and we look forward to working with them as we continue to grow.”
