PokerStars Announces Return of North American Poker Tour to Resorts World Las Vegas

This November marks the anticipated return of PokerStars’ North American Poker Tour (NAPT) to Las Vegas, with Resorts World Las Vegas selected as the hosting venue. Notably, this revival comes after a 12-year hiatus, and the timing coincides closely with another significant event: a race involving PokerStars’ associate, Oracle Red Bull Racing.

Las Vegas is set to witness intense poker activity, with players from various parts of the world converging at the Resorts World tables. The NAPT is scheduled to run from November 4-12. Highlighting the event, the Main Event with a buy-in of $1,650 is slated from November 6-11, featuring 6 starting flights. For players with a penchant for high-stakes, the $5,300 High Roller event will unfold between November 10-12. Additionally, the $550 PokerStars Cup offers more poker engagement from November 9-12.

Poker enthusiasts can anticipate further announcements from PokerStars regarding satellite tournaments and qualifying paths. These updates will elucidate how both poker aficionados and racing fans can make their way to Las Vegas to experience the amalgamation of poker and racing excitement over the two-week period.

Steve Preiss, VP for PokerStars North America commented “We are delighted to announce the return of this iconic series and once again hold the NAPT for poker players in North America. We’re working hard to ensure that this is a spectacular series and can’t wait to head to Las Vegas to get the show on the road.”

“We are thrilled to partner with PokerStars as we celebrate the return of the North American Poker Tour with the first stop at Resorts World Las Vegas. NAPT Las Vegas is sure to bring players in from all over the globe and we look forward to hosting them once again at our world-class property,” says Leon Wheeler, Director of Poker Operations at Resorts World Las Vegas.
