Pragmatic Play has entered Alberta’s regulated iGaming market following the opening of the Canadian province to licensed online gambling operators.
The supplier’s portfolio of online slots and live casino products has been certified for the market, enabling licensed operators in Alberta to offer its content. The certification includes slot titles such as Fury of Anubis, Big Bass Blast and the Gates of Olympus series, as well as live casino games including blackjack, baccarat, roulette and game show products.
Alberta’s regulated iGaming market officially opened this month, creating a new market for licensed operators and suppliers in Canada.
Pragmatic Play already has an established presence in the country through partnerships with operators in Ontario, where its content is available across multiple regulated iGaming brands.
The Alberta launch expands Pragmatic Play’s footprint in North America as the supplier continues to make its content available across regulated iGaming markets in the region through its single API integration.
Sharon McHugh, Director of PR at Pragmatic Play, said: “Alberta represents an exciting new adventure for regulated iGaming in Canada, and Pragmatic Play is delighted to be among the first suppliers bringing premium entertainment to operators and their players from day one.
“Building on our strong momentum in Ontario, this expansion reinforces Pragmatic Play’s long-term commitment to the Canadian market. We look forward to working closely with partners across the province as the market continues to develop.”
