Sisal Appoints Sian Carson as Chief People Officer Amidst iGaming Expansion


Sisal has announced the appointment of Sian Carson as their Chief People Officer, effective from October. Carson’s new responsibilities encompass leading the Human Resources & Organizational Design departments, as part of Sisal’s ongoing efforts to expand its iGaming presence both within Italy and internationally. This aligns with the company’s long-standing strategy of growth and development.

With a firm foundation established through persistent investments in human capital and skill sets in multiple locations, Sisal now commands a vast workforce of over 3,000 professionals. The company’s iGaming influence is evident in its operations spanning Italy, Morocco, Turkey, Albania, and Tunisia.

Carson’s academic credentials include a degree in Humanities and Economics from the University of Melbourne. Her professional journey started in Italy, where she served in various HR capacities within the UniCredit Group. 2013 marked her transition to the Flutter Group, where she initially took up roles in Australia’s Sportsbet division, her homeland. Later, she moved to London, progressing through several divisions like Paddy Power, Betfair, and Flutter International. Her recent position was as the Chief People Officer Group Functions, focusing on shaping talent enhancement strategies and fostering a culture of inclusivity to meet company goals.
