SOFTSWISS Enhances Sportsbook with Horse Racing Module Integration

SOFTSWISS, a global leader in iGaming solutions with over 15 years of experience, has introduced a Horse Racing Module to its Sportsbook software. Initially available in South Africa, the module expands SOFTSWISS’s offering by integrating a widely popular and traditional betting vertical.

Horse racing has a long-standing presence in the global betting industry, particularly in regions such as South Africa, the UK, Canada, Japan, and New Zealand. The global horse betting market is projected to reach €82.6 billion by 2032, growing at a CAGR of 7.6% from 2023 to 2032. SOFTSWISS’s new Horse Racing Module is designed to capitalize on this growth, offering operators access to over 320 local races and 2,150 international races each month from 14 countries.

Developed by Turfsport, a South African software provider with 35 years of industry expertise and now part of SOFTSWISS, the Horse Racing Module supports fixed-odds betting across multiple markets. The module features race cards, silks, and a variety of betting types, with flexible design options to match different brand identities.

Earlier in 2024, SOFTSWISS also launched two South Africa-specific products: the Lotto Software, which enables operators to offer customizable lottery number betting, and the Retail Betting Solution, which supports sports betting, lotteries, horse racing, and casino games. Both products are optimized for desktop and mobile, empowering operators to quickly establish offline betting businesses legally.

SOFTSWISS will present these innovations at the SBC Summit Lisbon from September 24-26, where attendees can visit Stand B160 to explore the latest advancements in its iGaming ecosystem.

Alexander Kamenetskyi, Head of SOFTSWISS Sportsbook, comments: “The acquisition of a majority stake in a key South African software provider has enabled us to integrate the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook with the Horse Racing Module by Turfsport, widening our offering. Launching this module in South Africa aligns with our recent expansion into the region, where we have obtained local certifications for our Casino Platform and Sportsbook. Horse racing remains highly popular, particularly in South Africa, but we are confident this product has strong global potential. This integration marks just the first step in the ongoing development of the Horse Racing offering within our Sportsbook.”
