Stakelogic to be Acquired by SEGA SAMMY HOLDINGS


Stakelogic B.V., a prominent Dutch game developer, has announced a definitive agreement to be acquired by SEGA SAMMY HOLDINGS INC., a major Japanese entertainment conglomerate. The acquisition will be executed through SEGA SAMMY CREATION INC., a wholly-owned subsidiary of SEGA SAMMY HOLDINGS, for an upfront enterprise value of €130 million, with an additional earnout payment contingent on specific performance criteria.

This strategic transaction will merge Stakelogic’s extensive portfolio of popular online slot games, live casino studio capabilities, rapidly expanding hybrid game offerings, and robust in-house game development resources with SEGA SAMMY’s global distribution platform.

Stephan van den Oetelaar, CEO of Stakelogic, will maintain his leadership role post-acquisition, ensuring continuity and driving the combined entity’s future growth in the iGaming sector.
