Svenska Spel Partners with Playtech to Enhance Poker Offerings in Sweden

Playtech, a global leader in gambling technology solutions, has bolstered its poker footprint in Sweden through a strategic partnership with renowned operator, Svenska Spel Sport & Casino.

As part of Svenska Spel’s initiative to modernize and augment its poker offerings, the operator launched Playtech’s advanced poker product and iPoker network this month. This introduction brings numerous enhancements for Svenska Spel’s users, including innovative features, an optimized mobile playing experience, and integration with the iPoker network. This connection facilitates access to an expanded liquidity pool, additional tournaments, and increased prize pots for Svenska Spel’s players.

This recent development augments the existing partnership between Playtech and Svenska Spel, which began in 2019 encompassing online casino and Live provision services. With this expanded collaboration, Playtech now serves as the exclusive poker partner to Svenska Spel.

This sustained partnership underscores a significant stride in Playtech’s expansion strategy. The move follows Playtech’s recent acquisition of a B2B permit for Sweden in accordance with new regulations, emphasizing the sustained popularity of poker—one of Playtech’s most successful verticals across the company’s portfolio.
