Twain Sport’s Debut Events Launch with T-Basket Tournament

Twain Sport, the newly launched live sport vertical from the Hybrid Sports League and BetGames, is set officially kick off this week with its first official tournament game of the season.

The much-anticipated hybrid sport tournament gets started in Vilnius in a custom-built arena, bridging the gap in demand for increased live sport with high-frequency entertainment.

The initial sport, T-Basket, will deliver head-to-head basketball tournaments every hour – with a match every three minutes, totalling 6300 monthly – with bettors able to enjoy an extensive range of betting markets via an intuitive mobile-first designed UI.

T-Basket features professional athletes competing head-to-head to score the most points in 60 seconds. With eight players in a tournament and a new game every three minutes, a full tournament experience is broadcast in just one hour with 14 tournaments and many hours of action every day.

With a host of additional launches in the pipeline, Twain Sport will deliver a similar sporting schedule to Esports and Virtual Sports, with plans to extend its product offering significantly in 2023 and beyond.

All competitions will be subject to stringent, market-leading integrity measures using Sportradar’s Fraud Detection System and implementing anti-match fixing protocols, enabling Twain Sport to offer its tier-one operator partners the world’s very best protection.

Commenting on the launch, BetGames’ CEO Andreas Koeberl said: “It is great to see the first T-Basket tournament get underway. This is a moment which is going to change the way our industry looks at live entertainment in relation to sports betting, while offering a fun-to-watch, easy-to-understand concept for players.”

“We are truly innovating this space, creating an entire new vertical which has long been needed to meet the demand for increased live sport with high-frequency entertainment. The anticipation of witnessing the first tournaments has already got me excited for where this can lead, with a comprehensive range of markets the end objective.”
