Videoslots Secures Five-Year Swedish Licence Renewal

The Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA) has recently renewed Videoslots’ operating licence for an additional five years, extending its validity through the end of 2028. This renewal represents the maximum duration granted by the SGA to igaming operators.

Videoslots, a prominent name in the igaming sector, has been active in the Swedish market since its regulation in 2019. Operating with its flagship brand and the increasingly popular Mr Vegas, Videoslots has established a significant presence in both the European and Nordic igaming landscapes.

This licence extension is a testament to Videoslots’ successful operations and strategic growth, particularly highlighted by its achievements in 2023. Notably, the company reached a milestone with the launch of its 10,000th slot game and successfully expanded into the Ontario market, further solidifying its position as a leading igaming operator.

Ulle Skottling, Deputy CEO at Videoslots said the news strengthened the company’s position and validated its player-centric approach.

He added: “We remain strong in business and compliance, and we welcome the SGA’s recognition and ongoing confidence in our practices. The decision supports our plans for 2024.”
