Wazdan and Blueprint Gaming, two innovative iGaming providers, have each secured a B2B supplier permit from the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA), in light of new regulations introduced by the governing body.

Effective from July 1st, 2023, these new rules require companies to hold a gaming software permit in order to distribute content within the country. The development is significant for both providers, as Sweden is a core market for Wazdan and Blueprint Gaming, demonstrated by their strong performance and popularity in the region.

Wazdan’s portfolio, which includes over 100 top-performing titles such as 9 Coins™, Hot Slot™: 777 Rubies, and Hot Slot™: Mystery Jackpot Joker, as well as engagement-boosting mechanics like Hold the Jackpot, will continue to strengthen the company’s position in the Nordic market. Wazdan’s commitment to regulated markets is further evidenced by its possession of more than 20 licenses and certifications worldwide, ranging from New Jersey to the Netherlands.

Blueprint Gaming’s content also enjoys considerable success across the Nordics, with games like Rise of Atlantis™ and Bison Rising Megaways™ being popular among players in the region. The new license will contribute to the ongoing expansion of Blueprint Gaming’s reach within this discerning demographic.

Both Wazdan and Blueprint Gaming are dedicated to supporting regulators through licensing, approved supplier status, or certification. Blueprint Gaming currently holds accredited status for its diverse and comprehensive games portfolio in over 17 jurisdictions globally.

These B2B supplier permits reflect the iGaming providers’ commitment to adhering to regulatory requirements and maintaining their presence in the competitive and thriving Swedish market.

Michal Imiolek, Chief Executive Officer at Wazdan said, “We’re delighted to have been granted a B2B supplier permit by the Swedish Gambling Authority and we thank them for a swift, smooth process. It also serves as a testament to the consistent hard work of our Compliance team, making sure we’re compliant with regulatory requirements and player safety obligations in iGaming markets around the globe.

“The Nordic market is an important one for us and we’ve been an active supplier in the region for some time, so we’re excited to be able to keep entertaining Swedish players for years to come.”

Thomas O’Halleran, Director of Operations at Blueprint Gaming commented, “Sweden is an important territory for Blueprint, so we’re naturally delighted to ensure our continued commitment to supply games to this region.

“This new approval allows us to continue our growth and development of content that Swedish players will continue to enjoy and return to.”
